General notice for family members, spouses and others who are involved with or concerned about a patient of 16 years or older.

You may be concerned, directly or indirectly, with the treatment that your family member, spouse, friend or employee is receiving from us. It often happens that persons who themselves have not registered as a patient wish to contact us and discuss matters. This may be for reasons of concern, or in order to inform us, or just because something is bothering them.

We discourage such contact. We do not want to talk or listen. Unfriendly as this may sound, it is primarily meant to help us avoid making mistakes, such as acting against our patient's will or violating confidentiality. Therefore, please do not contact us, don't send us emails or letters etc.

However, you are always free to discuss this with our patient and see if you may join him or her to the therapy, so that you have the opportunity to express your concerns or other issues. With our patient's consent we will be happy to hear your opinions and wishes. We may then even call you back or invite you for an appointment. We are not that unkind, in the end.
